- Bio: Terrance “Chip” Chipperfield, 68, of Sioux Falls, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.Terrance was born July 1, 1945 in Sioux Falls, SD to Oscar and Evelyn (Tjosvold) Chipperfield. As a child, he moved with his family to Nebraska where he grew up and received his education. In his late teenage years, he moved to Sioux Falls where he began his career with Metz Baking Company. Terry worked for Metz for 30 years, retiring in 1995. Following retirement, he worked part time for the City of Sioux Falls Street Department.On May 31, 1980, he was united in marriage with Audrey Nelson at Sioux Falls. They were living in Sioux Falls at the time of his death.Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Audrey, of Sioux Falls; his children, Jeremy (Kristen) Chipperfield of Sioux Falls and Christy (Pat) Hauer of Yankton, SD; his step sons, Mike (Rhonda) Pfannes, Dave (Lisa) Pfannes and Dan (fiancé, Tracy) Nelson, all of Sioux Falls, SD; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his sisters, Geraldine Anderson of Newell, SD and Diane LaFrenz of Luverne, MN; and one brother, Eugene Chipperfield, of Sioux Falls, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters and one brother.Funeral Services will begin 10:00 am Saturday at Celebrate Community Church. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 to 6:30 pm Friday at Celebrate Church with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 pm.
