- Bio: Alice Anseth, 102, Crosby, ND, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at St. Luke's Sunrise Care Center in Crosby.
- Graveside services were Friday, April 4, 2014 at Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Ron Dahle officiating.
- A memorial service was held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Luke's Sunrise Care Center in Crosby with Pastor Ron Dahle officiating.
- Alice Nelson was born June 14, 1911, the daughter of Nels and Josie (Nygaard) Nelson in Upland Township, Divide County, North Dakota.
- Alice was raised on the family farm, residing there until her marriage to a neighbor boy, Hayden Lampert in July of 1933. They had five children, Kenny, Harlan, Donald, Roger and Carol. Hayden passed away New Year's Day in 1977.
- In September of 1978, Alice married Gehard Anseth, Gehard passed away in 1989. Alice entered the Good Samaritan Center in Noonan in 2000, residing there until it closed. She then moved to the Crosby Good Samaritan Center where she resided until her death.
- Alice was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, two sons, Kenny and Donald; daughter, Carol and son-in-law Eddie Mansuego, one grand-daughter, one great-grand-daughter, one step-daughter, Audrey Glasoe; one step-grandson; three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two sons, Harlan (Betty), Fountain Valley, CA, and Roger (friend Delores) Columbus, ND, daughter-in-law Elain Grant; twelve grand-children and many great and great-great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Leora (Dwight) Brown, Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, Helen (Vern) Johnson, Bloomington, MN, and Doreen (Duane) Wenstad, Crosby; step son-in-law, Duane Glasoe; 11 step grandchildren and many step great and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
- Stakston-Martin Funeral Home of Crosby is in charge of arrangements.
